Computer Hardware is important because as software and programs become more complex, the hardware need to be updated and set so that the software can run. If hardware is out of date or obsolete, it could be a security issue or performance issue as software is updated on the fly. Since software is updated so regularly, hardware must keep up so that it does not become an issue.
